What to Expect at the 2020 Komen New Jersey Virtual MORE THAN PINK Walk

The Komen New Jersey MORE THAN PINK Walk is going VIRTUAL.

While the pandemic has canceled many important moments in our lives, our mission to end breast cancer isn’t canceled, and neither is our 2020 Komen New Jersey Virtual MORE THAN PINK Walk.

We are inviting our participants, teams & sponsors to Walk Where You Are, because the women and men facing breast cancer need our support now, as much as ever. Whether it’s emotional support via our helpline, financial support through our treatment assistance program, or help navigating their care journey, we must continue to be there for them.

Together we will set a collective step goal for the New Jersey MORE THAN PINK Walk as we work together to raise $650,000. You can take your steps a little at a time, or all at once on event day.

Here’s what to expect for this year’s event:

• Walk where you are! We will not be gathering at Six Flags; instead, we encourage you to walk in your neighborhood, local park, or wherever else you’re able to socially distance with your family, friends and team members.
• Registration: Start your fundraising off with a $10 gift which provides access to the online fundraising tools and connects participants and teams through virtual communication platforms.
• T-Shirts: All participants will be recognized with a Walk t-shirt, distribution details to come. Breast Cancer Survivors & those living with MBC will be recognized with a Walk pink or fuchsia shirt.
• In early August we will have an updated mobile app that will allow you to track your steps, post pictures directly to social media, earn badges, download social media filters, and so much more. If you haven’t already, be sure to download the app today.
