Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey’s third annual Pink Power party, presented by iPlay America on Thursday, March 8, was the ultimate night out full of excitement, inspiration and plenty of girl power.

Thanks to the generosity and support of guests, sponsors, vendors and committee members, this event raised $20,000 that will allow Komen CSNJ to further our mission of saving lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.

Some great vendors!

Held on #InternationalWomensDay this year, this event connected many fabulous female entrepreneurs in the area with attendees and celebrated the impact women in our communities have made for our mission. Guests enjoyed plenty of shopping, from jewelry and clothing, to skincare and crafts; there was a vendor for every taste and style! Check out the full list of 2018 Pink Power Party vendors here.

The fun didn’t stop at shopping! Every guest 21+ sipped on a refreshing Pink Power Paloma, generously sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and iPlay America, and enjoyed incredible SWAG bags filled with goodies. The tricky tray raffle held prizes worth up to $250 and included the hottest beauty products, fun experiences and more donated by generous patrons and businesses in the community.

Joan Litt and Cami Gunther

Komen CSNJ supporter and breast cancer survivor Joan Litt won the incredible door prize: a beautiful diamond necklace donated by Cami Gunther and Gunther Publications.

Scott Present and Xtreme Event Group kept the music going all night long. A fashion show styled impeccably by LOLA’s of Manalapan included daytime fashion and gorgeous eveningwear for girls and women of all ages. Three of these beautiful models are breast cancer survivors. Gallery of Dance treated guests to amazing performances with two competitive dance teams.

Selfie Snapshots

Our perfectly pink photo booth was a hit! Selfie Snapshots brought amazing lighting, props and fun to the Pink Power Party and captured plenty of memories.

This event was sponsored by CentraState Healthcare Foundation; Gunther Publications; iPlay America; Rebecca Proske, Charles Schwab of Freehold; and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

Some of the Pink Power Party ladies! (L-R): Jessica Schwartz, iPlay America; Carrie Cowit, Jewelry Design Gallery; Maureen Fasano, Farmer’s Insurance; Rebecca Proske, Charles Schwab; Suzanne Corson, Executive Director of Komen CSNJ

The Pink Power Party would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication from the event committee: Lola Berent, Jackie Berman, Jennifer Navas-Cornier, Carrie Cowit, Melissa Gelber, Cami Gunther, Maureen Fasano, Rebecca Proske and Jessica Schwartz. Komen CSNJ is grateful to these incredible women for supporting our vision of a world without breast cancer.
