Alliance Cancer Specialists — Bringing the COMMUNITY together.
Our Community Pillar represents connecting survivors, metastatic thrivers, and caregivers with each other with targeted information and resources to provide a safe, supportive, and hopeful community while supporting the Komen mission — to save lives by funding research breakthroughs for breast cancer, and ensure all people receive the care they need.
Alliance Cancer Specialists is proud to serve as our Pennsylvania MORE THAN PINK Walk Community Sponsor and support Komen’s COMMUNITY efforts as they partner with us to bring quality care and support to the breast cancer community.
Dedicated. Compassionate. Experienced. Alliance Cancer Specialists is making a difference in our community by bringing the talents of 35 Oncologist from 13 area practices into the largest community oncology group practice in Southeastern Pennsylvania with 10 convenient locations in Bensalem, Chalfont, Doylestown, Glen Mills, Langhorne, Media, Ridley Park, Sellersville, Yardley, and Upland.
“While most cancer teams will often agree on the standard of care treatment, at Alliance Cancer Specialists, we don’t just care for the cancer. We personalize our care based on the particular patient and make sure we include and communicate with all physicians involved as well as with the family, treating our patients with the level of service we would want for our own family. “ — Moshe Chasky, MD, FACP
This year, Alliance Cancer Specialists will be coming together with their team, Alliance Cancer Avengers lead by Mary Ellen Davis to help raise funds for programs like our Helpline, Treatment Assistance Program, Advocacy, Stand for H.E.R. (Health Equity Revolution) and Research.
Mary Ellen is a 12-year breast cancer survivor — she was diagnosed with stage III triple negative breast cancer at 44 years old. After going through chemotherapy, and a bilateral mastectomy with reconstructive surgery — she knew she wanted to be a part of supporting research and a world without breast cancer.
“My daughter Emily is 26 and my mother of 80 will join me on Mother’s Day along with my coworkers and our Alliance team to walk and support Komen’s vision of a world without breast cancer. Recently two of my young cousins in their 30’s and 40’s was diagnosed. This is why I work in Oncology Care, because I want to pay it forward and support those battling cancer. This is the reason I pitched being the Community Pillar Sponsor to the leaders at Alliance Cancer Specialists — to support the MORE THAN PINK Walk and Komen mission. It means a great deal to me personally and I believe we are a great resource to the local community representing community oncology care…. We have expert physicians, nurses, and staff that are committed to caring for Oncology patients.” — Mary Ellen Davis, LPN, MBA, Senior Oncology Liaison
